Here is a general description of the things I do or that have done during the past few years.
Email marketing management
For the past few years, I have been involved in the management of hundreds of email campaigns for clients or sponsors, internal company marketing, and corporate business units. Email campaigns I send are sent to registered users of newsletters, third party opt-ins, and corporate business to business users. The campaigns I manage range from few thousands of emails at a time, to some times over a million emails in a single blast.
For the most part, email campaigns are mostly served as HTML or graphically rich emails, but I also work on plain text versions to maximize the reach of the campaigns. The HTML emails I code are based on industry standards to make sure the emails are delivered to the most users.
I can manage registrations databases for different types of subscribers and I can guide a team of developers on how to make the best use of the email registrations in any company.
I have worked on custom built email applications and with industry leading software from Strongmail and CheetahMail.
Web Development
I develop web sites for multiple corporate giants. Most of the sites are co-branded mini sites and online sweepstakes. I work closely with one of the top teams in the industry of web designers to create sites that not only look good, but that also have an impact on the visitors.
My team takes care of programming clean HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and some PHP code for special projects hosted on multiple sites.
I also do verification and validation of templates for content management systems and general HTML programming to create pixel-precise files according to graphic designs.
Management of corporate sites areas like press releases, affiliate relations, investor relations, and general content via code or custom developed content management systems.
Coding of web site templates and/or commercial sponsored areas for special company sites like Premio Lo Nuestro, Latin GRAMMY, Premios Juventud, and others.
Managing advertiser sponsored mini web sites by coordinating the content provided by advertising agencies or clients, art team design implementation and business rules. Some of the most notable sites I have managed (completely or partially) include Latin GRAMMY, Premio lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, and other major traffic driving sites within the Univision.com portal.
Developing and collecting millions of votes for nationwide TV promoted contests and polls on the Viewsflash, Cogix’s polling platform.
