Well... last weekend really sucked. I had a great time, but it seems like I had Gremlins in my race car. You know, those crazy creatures that break things into a million pieces, to give the enemy an advantage. Anyway...here's the summary. Saturday's practice went ok. I managed to make a time of only two seconds slower than my best time in Sebring. Then came the qualifying. Qualifying was really good. I made it 2 seconds faster than my best time ever at Sebring with a 2:44 in the fastest lap. Then came the race. First lap was obscured by a blown tire. After much struggle, I made it back to the pits and changed tires. I only made two more laps with cold crappy tires, but at least I finished.

Yes, I nailed 100 points more since this time no one else showed up to give me some competition in the H4 class.

Sunday was even worst...The fuel pump in my race car went bad. I lost fuel pressure due to either a bad main relay or a bad fuel pump. Practice times were pretty bad since I lost fuel pressure every time the car was at top end.

At the end, I could not make the race because the car started making a pretty bad noise in the engine. I found out later that there might be a problem with the valvetrain adjustment, so that and the fuel pump are my next concerns.

I am already getting ready to race at the season closing event in Homestead Miami Speedway.

I want to thank each and everyone of you that sent me emails of support and also those that made it to the Sebring track last weekend.

Stay safe...
